We're Sel and Gueb, and a few years ago, our life looked very different. Sel had been homeschooling our son Darius (who has autism) for 18 years; pouring everything into his growth while watching her own career dreams fade into the background.
The isolation was heavy. The financial stress was constant. And the question haunted her: "How do I get back into the workforce after all this time... and still be the mom Darius needs?" Meanwhile, Gueb was grinding through a 30+ year career in international development, working across the world but missing the moments that mattered most at home. We were doing everything "right" on the outside, but inside? We were exhausted, stretched thin, and searching for something that felt sustainable.
Then everything changed. Sel discovered an online business system that offered hope, vision, and a future she could finally shape. It allowed her to work from home, support her son Darius, now a talented vocalist performing on small stages, and build real income on her own terms. Through this system and business model, Sel stepped into her role as a social entrepreneur, financing her ideas, becoming the author of Autism Lifestyle: Unlocking the Autism Plate, founding Championing Autism, and building an ecosystem of purpose driven projects that bring long held dreams to life. And when Gueb saw the impact, this was having, not just financially, but emotionally and spiritually, he knew he had to be part of it. He brought his business strategy, social media skills, and networks to the table, and together, we've built something we're incredibly proud of: a business that serves families and individuals who feel unseen and unheard.
